Like\ngeneralized estimating equations, this method is also a\nquasi-likelihood inference method. It has been showed that the\nmethod gives consistent estimators of the regression\ncoefficients even if the correlation structure is misspecified,\nand it is more efficient than GEE when the correlation\nstructure is misspecified.
